 Include in your blog post all public links and references to companies or people mentioned. Speakers that you recommend should also be included. A simple reference section at the end should suffice. • Maximise the use of the platform that you are using. WordPress.com allows photos and video, so why not use this to your advantage. WordPress also allows hashtags and keywords, so why not use this too. Think about the difference it makes when you see a post about someone's content presented in this way. • Images that tell the viewer something of what they can expect should they read your blog post. Memes and comical images are best avoided. Use common sense when selecting an image, and of course it should be consistent and congruent with the nature of your article. • Engagement. Anyone who goes to the trouble of commenting or responding to your post (in a positive way) should be engaged with out of courtesy. So, do keep an eye on it once you have placed it online.
